The inspiration behind the establishment of the hospital for birds comes from Chakravarti Acharya Shri. Shantisagar Ji Maharaj, known as Shraman Sanskritiís ìKarunagarv Yug Purushî, arriving to Delhi in 1929 saw some birds which were injured or ill. He inspired his Jain disciples to save, collect and provide medication to birds.
